CarterBaldwin and Crawford & Company are pleased to announce that John Edward Janke has joined the company as International Controller. John will report to Chief Financial Officer Bruce Swain and lead the international accounting function and development of the global accounting staff. He will also be responsible for executing Crawford’s mission of expanding internationally while maintaining an integrated global operating environment to better serve their clients.
John is a dynamic accounting and finance executive with 20+ years of experience ranging from controllership to an international CFO role. As an SVP at Elavon, he led the accounting function including general ledger, commissions, sales tax, payables, and financial systems in addition to SOX compliance and certification processes. John played a key role serving as CFO in the formation of Elavon Financial Services Ltd., an Irish bank supporting U.S. Bank’s European Payments Services initiative.
John holds a BA from The University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business and an MBA from the J. Mack Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University
