Crawford & Company announced today that Greta Van has joined the Company in the role of senior vice president, Internal Audit. Based in its world headquarters in Atlanta, she will report to Allen W. Nelson, executive vice president, general counsel, corporate secretary and chief administrative officer.
“Greta is the right leader to move Internal Audit forward as Crawford builds a world-class Internal Audit function,” said Nelson. “She has made a number of important contributions throughout her career, and we expect her to leverage her abilities and accomplishments in her role with our organization.”
Greta brings to Crawford more than 20 years of internal audit, financial and executive management experience, within both public companies and private-equity backed firms. Her background includes internal audit and process improvement, operational audits, general ledger accounting, management of accounting and internal audit staff, mergers and acquisitions including post acquisition integration, strategic business planning, budgeting and public accounting.
Most recently, Greta served as vice president, Internal Audit for Internap, a publicly traded IT infrastructure company, and earlier she was director, internal audit and risk management for Comverge, a leading provider of intelligent energy management solutions. She received a Master of Professional Accounting from Georgia State University and a Bachelor of Science in Business from Clemson University. She is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Internal Auditor.
