Rodney Anderson

Rodney is a search consultant with CarterBaldwin and focuses on corporate clients that have a deep commitment to mission and purpose. His search work spans President/GM roles and the supporting leadership teams across finance, operations, sales, marketing, product, and technology.

Prior to search, Rodney served on staff at Buckhead Church (a satellite of NorthPoint Community Church) where he launched Canopy Social, an innovative ministry program designed to address the problems of loneliness and growing disconnection among single adults in Atlanta. Canopy Social quickly grew to the largest single adult community in Atlanta with over 27,000 participants.

As a former teaching pastor, Rodney helped build Mountain Lake Church in Cumming, GA into a 2,000+ weekly attendance ministry in just six years. He joined Buckhead Church in 2010, holding a series of positions focused on expanding and deepening engagement with members and the larger community.

Rodney is a published author and dynamic speaker. A native of Atlanta, he holds a BA in speech communication from the University of Georgia. He is an avid reader and podcast listener with extracurricular interests as diverse as entrepreneurship, marketing, politics, sports, cooking, and travel. Rodney lives in Roswell with his wife Sarah, his two boys, and absolutely no cats.
