CarterBaldwin Executive Search, together with the AHA Foundation, announces the appointment of Trey Dimsdale as the human rights organization’s new President.

“Trey’s visionary leadership and dedication to defending freedom align perfectly with our mission,” said Ayaan Hirsi Ali, founder of the AHA Foundation. “His expertise in leading mission-driven organizations will be invaluable as we expand our impact in protecting and promoting liberal ideals and continuing the fight against child marriage and female genital mutilation.”

Trey brings a wealth of experience in strategic leadership, coalition-building, and public advocacy to the AHA Foundation, most recently from the Center for Religion, Culture & Democracy, where he served as its founding Executive Director. Prior to that role, Trey was Counsel and Director of Strategic Partnerships at First Liberty Institute and Director of Program Outreach at the Acton Institute for the Study of Religion and Liberty. He is a prolific writer and speaker on classical liberalism and human rights, serving as Contributing Editor of Providence Magazine and writing for Public Discourse, The Washington Times, and Religion & Liberty Transatlantic.

Trey holds a JD and BA in history and political science from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and an MTh in theological ethics from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
