CarterBaldwin Executive Search announces the appointment of Ben Stanley as Vice President of Plant Operations at Oglethorpe Power Corporation.

Ben is a proven power generation operator with deep expertise in leading complex, multi-site generation portfolios and scaling operations from construction through steady-state performance. He joins Oglethorpe from Diamond Generating Corporation, a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Corporation, where he served as Vice President of Operations, leading multi-site operations and maintenance for a 2,000 MW fleet across California and New York.

Prior to DGC, Ben served as Plant Manager for the CPV Valley Energy Center, where he guided the facility through construction, commissioning, and full commercial operations. Earlier in his career, Ben advanced through progressively senior roles with Pacific Gas and Electric Company and Calpine, building deep expertise across combined-cycle, hydroelectric, and geothermal generation, as well as large-scale commissioning and operational initiatives.
