Shoals Technologies Names Candace Wills Vice President of Internal Audit

Shoals Technologies Group (NASDAQ: SHLS) and CarterBaldwin Executive Search jointly announce the placement of Candace Wills as Vice President of Internal Audit.

Candace arrives with a record of building internal audit functions inside complex organizations and leaving each one materially stronger. She joins Shoals from Holley Inc. (NYSE: HLLY), an international automotive performance manufacturer, where as Chief Audit Executive she established the company’s internal audit department from the ground up following its IPO, achieved SOX 404(a) compliance in under nine months, and reduced third-party audit spend.

Before Holley, Candace spent nearly nine years at KeHE Distributors, a natural and organic food distributor operating 18 distribution centers across North America. As Chief Audit Executive, she built the company’s ERM program, integrated operational, IT, and business process audits across a complex multi-site network and drove system and process improvements that optimized financial performance.

Earlier, she served as Chief Audit Executive at Midas, Inc. (NYSE: MDS), overseeing SOX compliance and integrated operational audits across approximately 2,400 franchise locations, and held a senior auditor role at OfficeMax (NYSE: OMX), supporting SOX and SAP implementation reviews across the U.S., Mexico, and New Zealand.

Candace holds a BS in Accountancy from the University of Kentucky and holds CPA and CIA designations.
