Ben Cottingham
Ben Cottingham is an Associate Partner at CarterBaldwin whose search practice spans senior and executive leadership roles across a broad range of corporate clients — many of them defined by a deep commitment to purpose and values. Before joining CarterBaldwin, Ben led a national retained search practice with particular strength in construction and heavy industrial.
Ben has earned a reputation as a trusted voice in his market through speaking engagements, industry relationships, and a depth of expertise that resonates with the leaders he serves. He brings that knowledge and energy to every search engagement, operating as a true partner to the leaders he advises.
Ben earned a BA in history with a minor in business administration from Samford University, where he played NCAA Division I football. He and his wife live in Birmingham with their two young children and are active members of Redeemer Community Church, where Ben serves as a deacon and is involved in urban outreach ministry. He also serves on the Industry Advisor Council for Third Lens Ministries, a nonprofit providing construction management services to churches and nonprofits.
