Corey Dortch, PhD
Corey brings more than 20 years of real-world experience as a higher education administrator to his role as a Search Consultant. He joins the firm from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School, where he most recently served as associate dean for the Evening MBA program. Corey spent his early career in Emory’s division of campus life.
Corey set and accomplished the goal of traveling to 40 countries by the age of 40. He also served as an ambassador for Goizueta, leading student groups in the school’s global experiential program, a partnership with major corporations and sister universities designed to bridge the gap between the classroom and the international business community.
Corey earned his BS, master’s, and PhD from the University of Georgia. He was selected as one the school’s 40 Under 40 honorees and continues to serve his alma mater as vice president of the alumni board. He is a member of the advisory board for 21st Century Leaders, a non-profit that connects high school students with business leaders across Georgia to leverage diversity, explore career opportunities, and develop leadership skills for the workforce, and was a Class of 2020 Leadership Georgia participant.
When they’re not hanging out with their son, you’ll find Corey and his wife Amelia exploring Atlanta’s restaurants, festivals, and cultural activities, and of course, watching their Georgia Bulldogs play. On Sundays you can spot Corey singing in his church choir.
