Melissa joined CarterBaldwin in 2019. An Ohio native, Melissa has a Broadcast Journalism degree from Bowling Green State University and spent more than 12 years in healthcare public relations in Baltimore and New York, working alongside and promoting some of the most outstanding physicians and their work in the world’s leading health care systems.
After spending nearly a decade at home raising her now 20-year-old daughter and 18-year-old son in Baltimore and Alpharetta, Melissa jumped back into the workforce ghostwriting for CEOs of both for and nonprofit organizations, as well as freelance writing and editing a variety of public marketing and promotional works.
Melissa, her husband Terry, and their children attend North Point Community Church where she has volunteered as a coach in the Hangout for elementary school-aged children for more than 12 years.
Since moving to the South, Melissa has broadened her love for the NFL (cheering hard for the Browns and the Ravens) to include college football, particularly the SEC (go DAWGS!) and the SAA (go VIKINGS!). In her free time, Melissa grabs her racquet and hits the tennis courts for some fun but competitive play.
