Stephanie Steele, PhD
Stephanie joins CarterBaldwin following a rewarding career in higher education both as a faculty member and in student life at Union University.
For more than a decade, Stephanie taught advanced statistics to doctoral students at Union University. She also taught courses in Union University’s Master of Education program including Faith and Ethics in Educational Leadership. In addition to teaching, Stephanie served as chair for dissertation committees for doctoral degrees in Educational Leadership, School Reform, and Higher Education Leadership and participated as a member of the Research Review Panel in reviewing the research plan and method for dissertations. Earlier in her career, Stephanie spent time in the government sector, working in the fiscal policy division of the Tennessee Higher Education Commission.
A native of Blue Springs, MO, Stephanie moved to Tennessee for college and began planting roots. She earned both her Master of Education in Higher Education and PhD in Higher Education Leadership and Policy from Vanderbilt University, and her BS in Learning Foundations from Union University.
Stephanie and her husband live just outside of Nashville, TN, with their four elementary and middle school-aged children. In her free time, she enjoys fitness and family movie nights.
