CarterBaldwin Executive Search is proud to partner again with Shoals Technologies Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: SHLS) in the appointment of Alex Ovshey as Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis.
Alex brings 10 years of experience spanning FP&A, investor relations, and supply chain finance in both private equity and public company settings. He joins Shoals from building products manufacturer, OmniMax International, where he served as Vice President of FP&A.
Prior to OmniMax, Alex spent eight years at Graphic Packaging International (NYSE: GPK), in progressively senior finance leadership roles, including Vice President of Supply Chain Finance and Vice President of Corporate FP&A. In these roles, he partnered with commercial and operational business leaders to establish cross-functional alignment and improve financial performance, driving cost savings through improved analytics and modernizing enterprise-wide planning processes. Earlier, as Vice President of Investor Relations, he guided the company’s transition out of private equity ownership.
Alex began the first 10 years of his career at Goldman Sachs (NYSE: GS), leading to a role as a Sector Head sell-side equity research analyst, covering packaging, forest products, and environmental services.
A native of Brooklyn, NY, Alex earned his BS in Finance and Accounting from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
