CarterBaldwin Executive Search is proud to partner again with Biola University in announcing the appointment of Dr. Nathan Herzog as Dean of the School of Education, effective March 1, 2026.

Herzog joins Biola with a distinguished record of service and leadership in Christian higher education. He currently serves as Dean of the School of Education at Jessup University, where he has been a member of the executive team since 2004, holding roles including associate provost and director of graduate studies. As Dean, Herzog led the creation of new programs, secured accreditation for the university’s first graduate level degrees, and has been instrumental in significant enrollment growth. In addition to his administrative duties, Herzong has served as a tenured professor of education at Jessup University, teaching and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students.

Herzog holds a PhD in leadership in higher education from Capella University, an MEd in multicultural education from National University, and a BA in biology from Point Loma Nazarene University.
