CF Industries hires Tom Grooms as Chief Information Officer

CarterBaldwin and CF Industries (NYSE: CF) are pleased to announce that Tom Grooms has joined the company as Chief Information Officer. Tom is a dynamic Information Technology executive with 20+ years of experience leading world-class commercial IT operations for international companies.

Most recently, Tom  was CIO for Valspar (NYSE: VAL) where he revamped the IT organization from a Regional/Business Unit-focused structure with over fifty international localities across six business units, to the first truly global function within the company’s 200+ year history. Prior to Valspar, Tom was with Medtronic (NYSE: MDT) for fifteen years where he held multiple Vice President roles around the globe.

Tom holds a B.S. in Finance from Valparaiso University and an M.B.A. in Information Management from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
