CarterBaldwin Executive Search, together with Florida Reliability Coordinating Council Board of Directors, is pleased to announce the appointment of Aaron Casto as their next Chief Executive Officer.

Aaron joins FRCC from Florida Municipal Power Pool, where he has served as Executive Director since 2020. Before his role at FMPP, Aaron spent over 18 years at Midcontinent Independent System Operator, Inc., where he held leadership positions in business planning and development, operational quality, and systems engineering. During his tenure there, he was instrumental in integrating Entergy and MISO South into the organization’s model.

“We are confident in Aaron’s ability to guide FRCC both strategically and operationally. For the last four years, he has led FMPP in preparing for a significant increase in solar generation at a time when reserve margins are declining,” said Jacob Williams, Board Chairman. “Aaron’s experience working at FMPP, along with his almost 20 years of experience during the developmental and energy transition phase at Midcontinent ISO, will help FRCC as our generation mix evolves while staying focused on reliable and affordable power for all Floridians.”

Aaron received his BA in business administration from Marian University.
