Gary Berzack Joins Diversified as Vice President, Corporate Controller

CarterBaldwin Executive Search is pleased to announce that Gary Berzack has been named Vice President, Corporate Controller for Diversified, a leading technology integrator delivering innovative digital media, collaboration, broadcast, electronic security, and OTT solutions. Gary joins Diversified from LogistiCare Solutions, LLC, a subsidiary of The Providence Service Corporation (NASDAQ: PRSC) and the nation’s largest manager of non-emergency medical transportation programs.

Gary began his accounting career at EY, first in Johannesburg, South Africa, and then transferring to the firm’s Atlanta office. He was recruited to the private sector by a former client, initially joining private equity backed Global Aviation Holdings and eventually gaining additional private equity and public company experience at WestRock (NYSE: WRK), Serta Simmons Bedding (a private equity portfolio company under Advent International), and BlueLinx Holdings (NYSE: BXC).

At Diversified, Gary will leverage his deep international experience, Big 4 accounting foundation, and solid mix of public and PE-backed company accounting models to support continued rapid organic and acquisition growth.

Gary was born in Zimbabwe and moved to Cape Town, South Africa, when he was a child. He earned his Bachelor of Commerce from the University of the Witwatersrand, and his Honors Bachelor of Accounting (master’s equivalent) from the University of South Africa.
