International Justice Mission (IJM) and CarterBaldwin Executive Search are pleased to announce that Stacy McMahan has joined the organization as its new Chief Financial Officer.
McMahan joins the largest anti-slavery organization in the world at an unprecedented chapter of reorganization and growth. As a critical member of IJM’s executive and global leadership team, she will serve as a strategic partner to all aspects of the organization—developing strategies to scale globally and fulfill IJM’s mission to protect the poor from violence. McMahan will also lead a global financial team that ensures the health, integrity, dynamic management, and strategic stewardship of IJM’s global finances.

McMahan joins IJM from nVent, where she served as Executive Vice President and CFO and was responsible for Finance, IT, M&A and Business Transformation & Analytics for the $2B+ spin out from Pentair plc. Throughout her 30-year career, McMahan has held financial leadership roles in several Fortune 500 companies including Eli Lilly, Johnson & Johnson, and Thermo Fisher Scientific. McMahan shared that she was drawn to the urgency of IJM’s mission and sees this role as a promising pathway to marry her financial leadership experience with life-changing work.
