CarterBaldwin Executive Search is pleased to announce the appointment of Karen Standridge as Director of Development for Amber Grace, a faith-based residential community for adults with mild intellectual and developmental disabilities.
With 20+ years of advancement and fundraisUnder her leadership, the school conducted several multi-million dollar transformational campaigns to support a lower school expansion, a dining hall and theater project, and the launch of the Lions Learning Academy, a therapy-based Christian school for students with special needs.
Prior to Hebron Christian, Karen was Senior Director of Major Giving at Make-A-Wish Georgia, where she oversaw major donors, corporate giving, and grants, and helped double Wish Ball revenue to more than $1 million in two years. Earlier, she held senior development roles with Lighthouse Family Retreat, the American Heart Association, and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. She began her career with the International Mission Board, serving overseas before transitioning into advancement leadership.
Karen holds a BA in business administration from Georgia College and State University.
