CarterBaldwin Executive Search announces the appointment of US Air Force veteran Matthew McDermott as Director of Sales for the Broad Market at Flip Electronics, one of the most innovative and fastest-growing electronic component and chip distributors, globally.

Matthew joins Flip following more than two decades at A2 Global Electronics, a global distributor of electronic components in defense, industrial, and commercial markets.  During his tenure there, Matthew developed strategic programs for OEM customers and led teams responsible for expanding the strategic account base and new business development.

As Director of Sales for the Broad Market at Flip, Matthew will partner closely with the Vice President of OEM Sales to develop and execute the company’s strategic vision, leveraging relationships to gain traction with OEM and P&L leaders to shape Flip’s offerings, services, and go-to-market strategies.

A native of Cleveland, OH, Matthew served as an Intelligence Analyst in the US Air Force, receiving the US Joint Service Achievement and the Air Force Commendation medals during his service.
