CarterBaldwin Executive Search and Thomson Reuters Corporation (NYSE: TRI) are pleased to announce the placement of Raymond Grove as Vice President of Product Management for Global Indirect Tax at Thomson Reuters Corporation, the world’s leading source of news and information for professional markets.
Ray joins Thomson Reuters from Ernst and Young (EY), where he was a Senior Manager for Indirect Tax Technology and Transformation and served in a leadership capacity for new solution innovation, development, delivery and business planning for the complex practice area of Indirect Tax.
Prior to EY, Ray served as Product Management Strategy and Business Growth Leader for Sovos, a tax compliance and business-to-government reporting software development company. At Sovos, Ray was responsible for product strategy, management and marketing, driving better user experience and significantly increasing revenues and value delivered to market.
A graduate of Augsburg University in Minneapolis with a BA in Marketing and Business Administration, Ray spent the first five years of his career as a product specialist and eventual portfolio manager at Entrust Datacard, a software development company that provides trusted identity and secure transaction technologies.
At Thomson Reuters, Ray will own the end-to-end product lifecycle for Thomson Reuters’ suite of Indirect Tax offerings, including ONESOURCE. . He will utilize his extensive knowledge of the global indirect tax ecosystem to create a market-driven product strategy, roadmap, commercial strategy and development plan for relevant technology platforms and products.
