CarterBaldwin Executive Search is proud to partner again with Shoals Technologies Group (NASDAQ: SHLS) in the naming of Gerald Jowers as Vice President of Information Technology.
A seasoned IT leader with a strong foundation in accounting, Gerald brings 25 years of experience in IT leadership, project management, and systems architecture to Shoals. Most recently, Gerald served as Senior Director of IT at Motion Industries, an industrial parts distributor and subsidiary of Genuine Parts Company (NYSE:GPC), where he was responsible for modernizing and expanding IT functions. Prior to Motion Industries, Gerald served as Vice President of IT at McPherson Companies, a $750 million family-owned distributor of fuel and lubricants.
Gerald began his IT journey at Command Alkon, a global leader in automated controls for the construction industry, where he gained international experience in England, the Netherlands, and Malaysia.
Gerald has a BS in accounting from The University of Alabama.
