HUNTSVILLE, ALABAMA – CarterBaldwin Executive Search and Simple Helix are pleased to announce the appointment of Tracy Collins as Chief Executive Officer of Simple Helix and their sister company, Alpha Hosting.
Tracy brings nearly 25 years of internet technology and data center industry experience to Simple Helix. Prior to joining Simple Helix, Tracy had a successful 22-year career with Huntsville based Veritiv Corporation (formerly known as Emerson Network Power and Avocent), holding various executive leadership positions in sales and marketing.
Simple Helix and Alpha Hosting have made substantial investments over the past five years to meet the growing demands of customers in the greater Huntsville market. As the only Tier III data center in Huntsville, the company is in a unique position to deliver network operations, security and reliability to corporate, government and government contracting customers. Tracy’s arrival as CEO marks the next phase of the company’s investment and commitment to the Huntsville technology, government and government contracting community.

Tracy holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Management from the University of Alabama Huntsville. Tracy is an avid supporter of Alabama football and, as a Canadian native, is a Toronto Maple Leafs season ticket holder.
