Teradata Corporation has announced that Tommy Richardson has joined the company as Chief Technology Officer, Teradata Applications.  He will be responsible for the technology strategy, enterprise architecture, technology governance, and cloud services for Integrated Marketing Management and Analytical Applications.

Tommy’s career has been focused in mission critical SaaS and BPO systems for the past 21 years. His broad range of experience includes employment with three Fortune 500 companies, service in the US Army, and as co-founder of two technology companies.  Prior to joining Teradata, Tommy was the CTO at Siemens Healthcare where he was responsible for enterprise architecture, shared platform development, technology governance, and enterprise technology alignment for solutions that run hospital’s businesses.  Tommy has held similar CTO positions at Automated Data Processing (ADP), Stardata Technologies, & Ricochet Systems.  He has worked on very large scale SaaS applications some of which had over 3 Billion in revenue, 350,000+ clients, and 25,000,000+ active users.   At these companies he has led large migrations from enterprise to SaaS architectures, acquisitions of new technologies and products, and development of new scalable cloud offerings.  Tommy lives in the Atlanta area and earned an MBA from the university of Georgia and a BBA in Information systems from Auburn University.
