Andy has more than 15 years of higher education experience in recruiting and retention of online students, marketing, strategic operations and analysis, and budget management. Most recently, he served as associate vice president of Adult and Graduate Studies at Houston Christian University.
“Andy has the skills and experience to build a scalable online enrollment model and place Montreat College on a stronger growth trajectory,” said President Paul J. Maurer. “His vision, experience, and leadership are exactly what Montreat College needs to ignite greater growth in our online programs.”
In 2017, Andy, who had advanced to a senior director of operations role supporting online programs at Liberty University, was recruited by Houston Christian to help launch online programs. As a systems and organizational strategist, he was tasked with developing processes for several departments impacting the enrollment, marketing, financial, and academic workflows for the online division. During Andy’s six-year tenure, Houston Christian’s online enrollment grew from zero to nearly 2,000 students.
Andy received his MBA from Liberty University and holds two bachelor’s degrees from Trinity Baptist College.
