CarterBaldwin Executive Search, together with the M&A Electric Power Cooperative Board of Directors, is pleased to announce the appointment of John Singleton as Chief Executive Officer. He will begin serving in January, 2025.
John joins M&A Electric Power Cooperative after 30 years at Black River Electric Cooperative. His career at Black River began in member services and marketing, progressing through roles of increasing responsibility and culminating in over a decade as Chief Executive Officer.
In his tenure as CEO, John led the implementation of an automated meter infrastructure, a comprehensive utility pole replacement program addressing 84,000 aging poles, and the rapid recovery effort following a 2021 tornado, which saw 95% of the Cooperative’s fleet replaced within 20 months.
He earned his BS in finance and business from Southwest Missouri State University.
