CarterBaldwin Executive Search is pleased to announce the appointment of Janet Thomas as Vice President of Human Resources for Agile Cold Storage, an ERA Partners and Continental Grain invested company.

Janet joins Agile as its first VP of HR, bringing over two decades of experience leading transformative HR initiatives across large-scale, multi-site organizations. She has a proven track record of building high-performing HR teams, driving workforce engagement, and aligning talent strategies with operational growth. 

Prior to Agile, Janet held senior HR leadership roles at The Quikrete Companies and Mueller Water Products (NYSE: MWA), where she oversaw HR operations across seven manufacturing plants, including unionized and foundry environments. At Mueller, she played a pivotal role in talent acquisition strategy, leadership development, and the implementation of DEI initiatives across US operations. 

Janet also spent more than 15 years with Genuine Parts Company (NYSE: GPC), rising to Vice President of Talent for NAPA Auto Parts. There, she led HR efforts for over 17,000 employees and spearheaded programs in leadership development, succession planning, and employer branding. 

She holds a BA in English from the University of Western Ontario and is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR-SCP).
