CarterBaldwin Executive Search announces the appointment of Jonathan Simpson as Corporate Controller for the Beasley Group.
Jonathan brings more than 25 years of accounting and corporate finance leadership experience across forestry and manufacturing. He joins Beasley from Rayonier Inc. (NYSE: RYN), where he spent two decades advancing through multiple senior roles, most recently serving as Division Controller for the US timber business.
Earlier at Rayonier, Jonathan served as Vice President of Accounting Operations, directing finance functions across the US and New Zealand, leading a revenue system implementation, and launching a data warehouse with Power BI dashboards to provide real-time operational insights. He also served as Director of Accounting Operations, where he guided the department’s restructuring after Rayonier’s split from Rayonier Advanced Materials (NYSE: RYAM), and Controller for US Forest Resources.
Jonathan began his career at Deloitte, auditing clients in the banking, healthcare, and manufacturing sectors, before transitioning in-house as Assistant Controller with Vac-Con, a leading manufacturer of industrial vacuum machines.
A Certified Public Accountant, Jonathan earned his BS in accounting from the University of North Florida.
