Copperweld Bimetallics hires Craig York as Chief Executive Officer

Copperweld Bimetallics, LLC and CarterBaldwin Executive Search are pleased to announce the appointment of Craig York as Chief Executive Officer.

Craig brings more than 25 years of experience in manufacturing to Copperweld, including nine years in the wire and cable industry. He most recently served as President and Board Member of Essex North America. Essex is a global manufacturer and distributor of copper and aluminum magnet wire to large OEMs in the energy, industrial, automotive and commercial/residential markets. Craig was responsible for driving significant improvements for Essex through a focus on customer service, high quality standards, new product innovations, and an emphasis on operational excellence. Prior to Essex, Craig held several executive leadership roles with Quanta Services and Newell Rubbermaid.

Craig will lead Copperweld’s best-in-class management team and its strong product portfolio and production capabilities, and will continue to value and grow their customer, supplier, and community partnerships.
