CarterBaldwin Executive Search and Gordon Food Service are pleased to announce the appointment of Mary Beth Zick as Chief People Officer.

Prior to joining Gordon Food Service, Mary Beth served as Vice President, Global Total Rewards, Talent Management, & Continuous Improvement for Perrigo Company plc, an American international manufacturer of private label over-the-counter pharmaceuticals. She has also held senior human resources leadership roles with Innotec, a manufacturer of innovative LED lighting and automotive technologies, and Prince Corporation (now Johnson Controls). She holds an M.A. in Industrial Organizational Psychology from Argosy University and a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Communication with an emphasis on Training and Development from Western Michigan University.

In her new role, Mary Beth reports to the CEO and has regular interaction with the Gordon Food Service Board. She is developing an enhanced HR organizational strategy that provides HR programs, practices, policies, and systems across Gordon Food Service’s US Distribution, Canada Distribution and Retail Store businesses.  Mary Beth serves as a champion of Gordon’s culture, ensuring opportunities for inspiration, integration, and improvement to foster a workplace environment consistent with Gordon’s core values and mission.
