CarterBaldwin Executive Search and ReliabilityFirst Corporation are pleased to announce the election of Mèlika Carroll as a new Independent Director. Mèlika is the fourth Independent Director added to ReliabilityFirst’s board through their partnership with CarterBaldwin.

Mèlika is head of global government affairs and public policy for Cohere, an artificial intelligence platform designed for businesses. Prior to joining Cohere, she built and led the corporate affairs function at Sonder, Inc. (NASDAQ: SOND) as a member of the senior leadership team that took the company public. Earlier in her career, Mèlika led the public policy strategy for several Fortune 500 technology companies including Intel, Micron, HP and Salesforce, facilitating dialogue with key policymakers in North America, Europe, Asia, and Latin America.

In addition to her experience in the private sector, Mèlika has worked for elected officials in Canada and the US, has guest lectured at Harvard Law School, Georgetown University, and The Washington Campus, and co-founded the Global Women’s Innovation Network.

Mèlika holds a BS in political science and public administration from the University of Ottawa and an MA in European affairs from the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium.
