CarterBaldwin and Owens & Minor are pleased to announce that Stuart R. Morris-Hipkins has joined the company as Executive Vice President of Global Manufacturer Services.
A senior executive with more than 20 years of global leadership experience, Stuart will join the company effective March 13, 2017. In this new role, Morris-Hipkins will be responsible for the company’s domestic and international manufacturer services business, strategic supply management, and global sourcing. As a member of the company’s executive leadership team, he will work directly with Cody Phipps, President & Chief Executive Officer.

Stuart joins Owens & Minor from Smith and Nephew, PLC, and Smiths Group, PLC, where he held a number of executive leadership positions over 17 years. In these roles, he was responsible for leading and developing global growth strategies and new business models in developed and developing markets. His most recent role was Senior Vice President and General Manager for Smith and Nephew, PLC, and prior to that, he served as Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing for Smiths Medical.
Stuart is a Chartered Global Management Accountant. He has a Master of Science degree in Atmospheric Sciences from the University of East Anglia, UK, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Chemistry from Oxford Brookes University, UK. With a dual citizenship in the United States and the United Kingdom, Morris-Hipkins and his family will relocate to Richmond, Virginia.
