CarterBaldwin Executive Search, together with the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation, announces the appointment of Wes Patterson as Chief Development Officer.

“Wes will be a tremendous enterprise leader and asset to the Foundation and Institute,” said David Trulio, President and CEO of RRPFI. “In addition to his deep appreciation of President Reagan’s accomplishments and values, Wes brings extensive experience as a trusted relationship builder and a data-driven strategist. He will play a key role in taking the Foundation to unprecedented heights.”

A 22-year veteran of higher education and nonprofit fundraising, Wes served the University of Southern California Advancement Office for more than a decade, most recently as Associate Vice President, University Advancement and Strategic Initiatives.

Prior to USC, Wes served as the Senior Advancement Officer at Pepperdine University’s Graduate School of Education and Psychology, where he led a successful revitalization of alumni giving. He began his career in nonprofit leadership with the Boy Scouts of America.

A native of Simi Valley, CA, Wes holds an MPA and BA in political science from California State University, Northridge.
