Tegra and CarterBaldwin Executive Search are pleased to announce that James (Jay) Glasscock has joined the company as Senior Vice President of Integration and Continuous Improvement.

In this role, Jay will have primary responsibility for driving business integration across Tegra’s global operations and leading the company program office in addition to owning all lean, engineering, and continuous improvement activities.

Working closely with the executive leadership team and board, Jay will be the chief architect and leader responsible for creating a best-in-class manufacturing process that supports company, customer, and shareholder goals.  He will be essential in building a manufacturing platform that is capable of supporting the company’s rapid expansion in volume, customers, and new sites and acquisitions.

Jay joins Tegra from Owens & Minor, a Virginia-based medical products distributor, where he most recently served as Senior Vice President and Chief Transformation Officer. In this role, Jay’s primary responsibility was leading the company’s Enterprise Program Management Office. Under his leadership, the EPMO partnered with various businesses and functions to successfully manage hundreds of projects annually. Prior to joining Owens & Minor, Jay held several leadership positions with Thermo Fisher Scientific and Beckton Dickinson.

Jay holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from North Carolina State University and an MBA from Duke University. Jay has served on several community boards, including the Silicon Valley Leadership Group and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Silicon Valley. In his free time, Jay enjoys spending time with his two dogs and riding his horses.
