CarterBaldwin and BPL Plasma are pleased to announce that Samantha Betancourt has joined BPL Plasma as company’s first executive leader in supply chain as the Vice President of Supply Chain. Samantha is a dynamic sourcing and operations executive with extensive experience in supply chain design improvement, supplier development and performance, and global procurement. She will report to Chief Executive Officer, Dennis Curtin, and will be responsible for leading continuous improvement and supply chain operations across all of BPL. Samantha will be a critical member of the executive leadership team in establishing and executing long-term supply chain strategy, seeking new market opportunities, and driving innovation at all levels of BPL’s operations
In her most recent role as Senior Director of Global Strategic Sourcing at TE Connectivity, Samantha oversaw $850M in spend across 16 global locations and was responsible for all strategic sourcing, material savings, supplier development, and supply chain design improvement. Prior to TE Connectivity, Samantha was the Senior Director for Business Operations at Flextronics and led global procurement and supply chain initiatives and served as Chief of Staff to the company’s Chief Procurement Officer.
Samantha holds a B.A. in History from the University of Florida and a M.S.A. in International Business from Central Michigan University
