CarterBaldwin and Larson-Juhl are pleased to announce that Jeff Cohen has joined the company as President, North America.
Jeff is an energizing executive with more than 25 years of experience leading operations for private equity-backed firms in the education, business services and retail industries. He will report to Larson-Juhl CEO Drew Van Pelt and will be responsible for leading the company to continued growth and increasing market share during a time of change in the home décor industry. Jeff will be a critical member of the executive leadership team in establishing and executing long-term strategy, seeking out new market opportunities, and driving ground-level innovation in all areas of Larson-Juhl’s operations and businesses.
In his most recent role as the Managing Partner of Operating Advisors, Jeff provided advisory consulting services to private equity-backed firms including stepping into an interim COO role at Delta Career Education Services and assuming the CEO role at Mobile Media Enterprises. At Delta Career Education Services, Jeff partnered with the CEO during a successful turnaround to drive top-line growth while simultaneously managing overall operations for a $250M business. Prior to his experience in the private equity and consulting arenas, Jeff worked for fortune companies such as GE, American Express and Home Depot. At Home Depot, he ran the $4 billion At-Home Services Division as Group President and reported directly to CEO Arthur Blank.
Jeff holds a B.S. in Commerce from Washington and Lee University and an M.B.A. from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California.
