CarterBaldwin is proud to partner again with Prison Fellowship International in the appointment of Jennifer McHugh Adams as Vice President of Development. Jennifer brings deep experience in fundraising, marketing, and communications to the faith-based prison ministry.
Since 2018, Jennifer has served as Executive Vice President of Partnerships and Communication at Water Mission, a faith-based nonprofit that designs, builds and implements safe water, sanitation and hygiene solutions for people in developing countries and disaster areas. In this role she led a team of 70+ and oversaw the organization’s advancement strategy—growing annual revenue from $18M to over $40M.
Previously, Jennifer held leadership roles at Bright Hope, where she secured the organization’s first 1M gift, and Samaritan’s Purse, where she secured major gifts, built global donor relationships, and led development strategies across multiple countries. Her early career in media and church-based nonprofits shaped her passion for aligning faith and mission.
Jennifer earned her MA in public relations, advertising, and applied communication from Webster University and a BA in English literature and creative writing from Indiana University.
