CarterBaldwin Executive Search, together with AdelFi, a division of Christian Community Credit Union, is pleased to announce the appointment of Cameron Forbes as Chief Innovation and Technology Officer.

Cam brings more than two decades of experience rationalizing complex technology environments, a discipline he carried from global manufacturing into financial services. Most recently, he served as Chief Technology Officer of HawaiiUSA Federal Credit Union, the state’s largest, where he built the organization’s first enterprise AI governance framework and a Snowflake-based data warehouse.

Before HawaiiUSA, Cam spent nine years as Senior Director of IT and Cybersecurity at Sumitomo Rubber North America, where he built the technology roadmap supporting the company’s hyper revenue growth, led a digital transformation that grew eCommerce, and improved forecasting accuracy.

Earlier, as CIO and VP of Information Systems at Channell Commercial Corporation, Cam led two global ERP upgrades and established the company’s SOX compliance and enterprise risk programs while revenue doubled during his near-decade tenure. He also served as interim CFO during an executive transition, leading the capital raise that took the company private.

Cam began his career at Kintana, an IT governance and automation startup, where he built the consulting practice that drove enterprise adoption of the company’s platform.

Cam holds a BS in finance from Virginia Tech.
