CarterBaldwin is pleased to announce that Lorenzo Brusa has been named Vice President, Supply Chain and Procurement for PE-backed (Kinderhook Industries) Copperweld Bimetallics, LLC.

Lorenzo joins Copperweld from Consolidated Precision Corporation, a $700M, PE-backed (Warburg Pincus) aerospace products manufacturer, where he spent more than five years as Director of Supply Chain and was responsible for sourcing, cost reduction, globalization, and capacity expansion. Previously, he was the Supply Chain Manager for both SIFCO industries, Inc. and Mondelez International.

Lorenzo began his career at global aluminum supplier, Alcoa, in Italy, as a Lean engineer. He solidified his foundation of best practices there through a variety of roles of increasing responsibility, spanning inside sales, supply chain, planning, etc. During his 15 years at the company, Lorenzo spent four years in Russia, integrating and overhauling two large sites, ultimately returning to North America as a supply chain manager.

At Copperweld, Lorenzo will be responsible for all things supply chain, purchasing, SIOP, and operational excellence, transforming a raw supply chain function into a practitioner of world-class ideas and systems.

Born to Italian immigrants in the US, Lorenzo is a dual citizen holding US and Italian passports. He earned his MBA from Case Western Reserve University and his BS in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Bologna, Italy.
