CarterBaldwin Executive Search, together with faith-based education nonprofit, Edify, announce the appointment of Myles Harrison to the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer.
Myles joins Edify having extensive strategic and operational experience across four different continents, most recently as International Director for London-based Tearfund. There, Myles led the Christian charity’s international work in approximately 50 countries and managed a budget of $95M, a staff of 500 and more than 210 partner organizations. He was also responsible for the COVID 19 response in more than 40 countries.
Prior to Tearfund, Myles spent 20+ years at World Vision International, leading country operations in Cambodia, Sierra Leone, Mauritania, and Azerbaijan, and regional operations in Australia and East Africa. He also served as Director of Global Strategy, where he led strategic operations planning and implementation for World Vision’s 70 countries.

As Chief Operating Officer, Myles will report directly to Tiger and play an instrumental role in helping Edify lay the operational foundation and structure to continue to scale ambitious growth and impact as well as optimize its training/lending/technology core offerings to partner schools.
Born and raised in the United Kingdom, Myles earned his MBA in Business Administration from Eastern University, and his BS in Management Studies and Operational Research from the University of Leeds.
