CarterBaldwin Executive Search, together with Covenant Classical School, is pleased to announce the appointment of Troy Schuknecht as Head of School for the Fort Worth, TX K-12 Christian school.
Troy joins Covenant following 14 years at Veritas Academy in Austin, TX, where he served as Associate Head of School and School of Rhetoric Head. There, Troy played a significant role in the success of the school’s rapid enrollment growth and program development. He also taught Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Greek, Ethics, and Apologetics, and spent seven years as the Upper School Head. Prior to Veritas, Troy taught Biology, Physics, Chemistry, and Anatomy in three public high schools in Washington, Texas, and Kentucky.
A native of Oregon, Troy earned his MDiv in Christian Ministry from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and a BA in Biology with general science teaching credentials from Whitworth College. He served as an elder for Austin Stone Community Church.
