Project Description
CarterBaldwin Executive Search, together with Hire Heroes USA, is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew Sandoe as Chief Executive Officer of the nonprofit committed to veteran employment.
Andrew began his career with Morgan Stanley in the South Tower of the World Trade Center in New York. The 9/11 terrorist attacks compelled him to serve his country, and he joined the Marine Corps as a pilot. He was deployed twice to Iraq, serving both in the cockpit and at the headquarters in Baghdad as the advisor to the Director of Military Operations for the nation of Iraq.
Andrew completed his military service in 2012 and attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology MBA program as a Pat Tillman Scholar. Post MBA, Andrew taught in the Entrepreneurship Group at Harvard Business School and launched a quantitatively driven long/short hedge fund. Andrew continues to lecture at Harvard, now teaching business analysis and valuation. He and his wife Robin are proud parents of three children.
At Hire Heroes USA, Andrew will lead efforts to design and execute the organization’s vision, building on its successful track record of employing veterans and producing exceptional results for military families.
