CarterBaldwin, together with Gas South, announces the appointment of Jenni Hawkins as Vice President, Customer Care of the Atlanta-based natural gas provider.

Jenni joins Gas South from CBORD/Horizon (Roper Technologies), where she led customer service operations as Director of Customer Support and was a founding member of their Diversity and Inclusion Council.

Jenni began her career in customer service at Delta Air Lines as a flight attendant. She later developed and led customer care at Delta Community Credit Center and led reservation sales and customer engagement at Delta Airlines. Most recently, Jenni served as general manager for global operations of the airlines Reservation Sales and Customer Care organization where she led a team of 1,100 sales and customer service specialists, was responsible for approximately 42M contacts through various channels annually, and managed a multibillion-dollar revenue.

At Gas South, Jenni will partner with the leadership team to develop, deploy, and lead a best-in-class customer care/customer service strategy. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, Jenni will be responsible for the contact center and the front-line customer experience, focusing on improving customer engagement, improving efficiencies, and driving value to the business.

Jenni is working toward her Executive MBA from Kennesaw State University, has a BA in psychology from The University of Georgia, and is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). She is involved in a variety of community organizations and is a founding member of New Direction, a nonprofit for women in need of business attire and resume/interviewing skills.
