Project Description

CarterBaldwin Executive Search is pleased to announce the appointment of Pastor Chase Wiggins to the position of Chief Ministry Officer for Valley Christian Schools (VCS).

Chase comes to VCS following nine years at Family Community Church (FCC) in San Jose, CA, where he was the Young Adult Pastor for the 6,000-member congregation. Chase launched the FCC Encounter program, serving youth and young adults, and successfully grew it from 15 weekly attendees in 2013 to more than 1,000 today. Chase attributes his success in growing the program to “trial and error and a lot of creativity,” including developing the program’s social media presence and online video platform. The program now has more than 5,000 followers on Facebook and Instagram and a budding YouTube platform. Chase is also a popular speaker to Christian youth groups in the San Jose region.

At VCS, Chase will lead and direct the development of a Christ-centered, global outreach ministry to connect the richly diverse Valley Christian community of students, families, and alumni, both Christian and non-Christian. He will serve as a role model, mentor, and spiritual caregiver, establishing strong relationships and community engagement and assessing ministry effectiveness.
