CarterBaldwin Executive Search is pleased to announce the appointment of Dave Lew as Vice President of Marketing and Product Management for Vitamix, the global leader in high-performance blending solutions for home and commercial use.

Dave joins Vitamix from Newell Brands, where he spent his entire 18-year career in various roles of increasing responsibility in D2C marketing. Most recently, Dave led the marketing, R&D, analytics, and channel development efforts for their $200M portfolio of beverageware as Global Vice President/Business Director for Newell Beverageware. Earlier in his career, Dave was involved in the company’s transition from an engineering-led product to a brand-centric one and was responsible for creating and launching the first online direct-to-consumer channel.

At Vitamix, Dave will provide strategic leadership and executive influence in delivering successful products, packaging, and retail presentation to the market, leveraging market intelligence to expand on the company’s existing D2C foundation.

Dave received his MBA from Emory University and his B.S. in Marketing from the University of Arizona. He is Chairman of the Board of Grip Outreach for Youth in Chicago and volunteers his time for a variety of children’s charitable causes.
