CarterBaldwin Executive Search, together with the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) Board of Trustees, announces the election of Ronald Talbot to the Board. He will serve on the Enterprise-wide Risk, Finance and Audit, and Nominating Committees.
Ron brings more than 40 years of experience in the electric industry across five utilities. His career combines strategic leadership in operations with deep technical engineering expertise and regulatory insight. Most recently Ron served as the Senior Vice President of Electric Operations for the Northern Indiana Public Service Company, where he led the reliable and efficient execution of the company’s generation fleet transition plan.
Earlier in his career, Ron held several senior leadership roles at Indianapolis Power and Light (now AES Indiana), including Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. He also served as Vice President of Chicago Region Operations for the Commonwealth Edison Company. He began his career at Consolidated Edison in New York.
Ron holds a BS in economics from State University of New York at Oneonta, a BSEE from Clarkson University, and an MSEE from New Jersey Institute of Technology.
