CarterBaldwin Executive Search, together with Butler University, is pleased to announce the appointment of Alan Finn to serve as the university’s Executive Vice President for Finance and Chief Operating Officer. He will replace retiring COO Bruce Arick and begin his new role on March 1.
Alan will join Butler from Ball State University, where he has served as the Vice President for Business Affairs and Treasurer since 2019. Prior to Ball State, Alan was Vice President for Business and Finance and Treasurer at Lewis and Clark College in Portland, OR. He has also served at Portland State University and the State University of New York and has held various roles in the private sector.

Alan earned a BS in accounting from Clarkson University and an MPA from Rockefeller College at The State University of New York at Albany.
