CarterBaldwin Executive Search is proud to partner again with The Stony Brook School in the appointment of Stephen Lacorazza as Chief Financial & Operating Officer.
Stephen brings more than 15 years of financial leadership spanning higher education, secondary education, and professional services, with a consistent record of steering mission-driven organizations through complex financial environments. He currently serves as Director of Finance & Administration at a Boston-based litigation firm, Berman Tabacco.
Previously, Stephen served as Vice President for Finance & CFO at Gordon College, where he provided strategic oversight of a $60 million operating budget and a $100 million endowment, working closely with the President and Board of Trustees to support the institution’s long-term mission and financial health.
Earlier in his career, Stephen held finance leadership roles at Northeastern University’s Khoury College of Computer Science and practiced public accounting at Wolf & Company and Edelstein & Company, where he earned his CPA license.

Stephen holds a BS in business and economics, accounting from North Park University and an MS in taxation from Suffolk University.
