CarterBaldwin Executive Search is proud to partner with Brook Hill School in the naming of Braxton Brady as their next Head of School, effective July 1, 2024.
Braxton joins Brook Hill with a wealth of experience, currently serving as the Head of School at Evangelical Christian School in Memphis, TN. In this role, he oversees more than 950 students, spanning grades Pre-K through 12.
“Braxton’s heart is for students, and he believes intentional discipleship is an essential practice in preparing this generation for their future in Christ’s kingdom,” said Stephen Dement, Brook Hill’s Founder & Acting Head of School and Chairman of the Board of Trustees. “We believe his value for relationships and vision for the role they play in a student’s education will strengthen and deepen Brook Hill’s culture.”
Prior to leading Evangelical Christian School, Braxton held roles as Chaplain and Director of Building Boys Making Men Program at Presbyterian Day School and Chaplain for the University of Memphis football team. He spent his early career in education teaching at Central Day School, a K-8 educational ministry of Central Church in Memphis.
Born and raised in Memphis, Braxton earned his MA in theological studies from Covenant Theological Seminary and his BA in interdisciplinary studies from the University of Memphis.
