CarterBaldwin Executive Search announces the appointment of Christopher Munn as Middle and Upper School Head for The Wilberforce School located in Princeton, NJ. He will officially begin his work in the summer of 2026.
“Chris brings a wide breadth of experience as a teacher, coach, and administrator,” said Jennia Axelson, Head-Elect of the Wilberforce School. “He has built teams, developed programs and policies, managed major projects, cultivated leaders, directed professional development, planned curriculum, and engaged deeply with students, faculty, and parents.”
For more than two decades, Chris has dedicated his life to working with students. He began his career in college ministry at Michigan State University. From 2007 to 2020, he lived and served in Shanghai, China, where Chris taught, led as department head, and later became principal at Yew Wah International School. In 2015, he became the founding principal of a new Yew Wah campus, beginning with 65 students and growing it to more than 700 by 2020.
After returning to the United States in 2020, Chris joined The Covenant School, a classical Christian school in Greensboro, NC, where he currently serves as Principal.
He holds an MA in educational technology from Michigan State University and a BS in social studies education from Indiana University.
