CarterBaldwin Executive Search is proud to partner with Covenant College Board of Trustees as they announce the appointment of Dr. Brad Voyles as the school’s next president.
Voyles has served as interim president of Covenant College since July 2023, in addition to serving as the vice president for student development and dean of students since 2005. During that time, he has provided leadership in admissions and financial aid, business operations and physical plant, and in response to COVID-19.
Prior to Covenant, Voyles served for eight years at Belhaven University as dean of student life and resident director. He was also a resident director at Southern Illinois University.
“Dr. Voyles’ administrative and operational experience in higher education makes him uniquely suited for his role as president,” said Richard Bowser, Board Trustee and Chair of the Presidential Search Committee. “[He] has led with character and competence—taking initiative for the benefit of others… self-forgetting for the sake of the institution and the Kingdom.”
Voyles earned his EdD in higher education leadership and policy from Vanderbilt University, MDiv from Reformed Theology Seminary, MSEd in higher education from Southern Illinois University, and BA in biological sciences from DePauw University.
