CarterBaldwin Executive Search, together with Hill Country Christian School of Austin, is pleased to announce the naming of classical Christian school administrator Eric DeVries as the school’s next Head of School.
Eric joins Hill Country from Westminster School at Oak Mountain in Birmingham, AL, where he served as Head of School and played a pivotal role in advancement efforts. Under his leadership, the school achieved its highest-ever retention rate (98%) and reached record enrollment levels.
Prior to Westminster School, Eric served for more than 20 years at The River Academy in Wenatchee, WA. Beginning his career as a classroom teacher, he quickly transitioned into administration, first as Assistant Administrator and ultimately as Head of School. During his tenure, Eric significantly strengthened student enrollment and retention and cultivated a high-performing faculty and administrative team, and culture.
Eric holds an MA in leadership with a focus on Christian schools from Gordon College and a BA in theology/theological studies from Whitworth University.
